Recap From The 2019 Carolina Farms Sustainable Agriculture Conference
We had the exciting opportunity of attending the Carolina Farms Sustainable Agriculture in Durham, NC. It was an amazing experience to get to speak with and learn from Farmers all across the country.
At the conference, industry leader Dr. Allen Williams shared his insights on growing sustainable agriculture. Dr. Allen Williams is a specialist in his field, a founding partner of Understanding Ag, the Soil Health Academy, and Grass Fed Insights.
During his talk, Dr. Allen Williams discussed regenerative grazing, helping people bridge profitability and improve the quality of life on their Farm. His lecture helped inspire confidence and outline steps for Farmers to build a regenerative ranch ecosystem.
We learned how Farmers can effectively:
reduce inputs
enhance productivity
increase net profits
improve quality of life
We had a booth---a great way to be at the ready for conversations---and we were also able to attend a few workshops. We learned everything from growing vegetables in the southeast to Cultivating Climate Resilience. Mariel, a Barn2Door team member, attended and had this to say:
