DIRECT Farm Conference Speaker: Nona Jones, Facebook Head of Faith-Based Partnerships
As we countdown the days to the DIRECT 2020 Farm Conference, a FREE virtual conference on August 4, 2020, Barn2Door is thrilled to announce our second keynote speaker. The DIRECT conference will focus on the 4 Levers that Farms use to build successful direct-to-market businesses: Quality, Brand, Price and Convenience.
To offer insights on building a strong community Brand, we welcome Nona Jones, who serves as Facebook’s Head of Faith-Based Partnerships. We’re delighted that Nona’s joining the virtual conference to bring her expertise in the faith community to deliver tactics for Farms looking to build more authentic relationships and brand experiences online in their local community.
Nona is an author, entrepreneur, speaker, pastor and talented executive. Her book, From Social Media to Social Ministry, is a guide to digital discipleship—using principles of digital marketing and doing ministry online, made all the more relevant when the pandemic closed church doors. Nona has urged the faith community to leverage online community-building on digital channels for years, understanding the power social media and other technologies have to build authentic connections.
Now more than ever, it’s critical for Farms to bring their efforts online, reinforcing in-person relationships with a brand experience on web, mobile, social and email—to tell their Farm’s story and connect meaningfully with customers eager to purchase local food from a local Farmer. Nona’s insights from the faith community will help Farmers to better share their practices and beliefs to reinforce their Brand to attract loyal customers. We know Buyers are eager to support Farmers who embrace sustainable practices and good stewardship principles that produce the nutritious food on their tables.
Register for the DIRECT Conference, and stay tuned for more speaker updates!
