Barn2Door Joins Mailchimp’s Integration Partner Program to Empower Farmers to Increase their Sales Online
Seattle, WA - February 06, 2021 - Mailchimp (@Mailchimp), an all-in-one marketing platform for small business, and Barn2Door, Inc. (@Barn2Door), a Seattle-based food+tech startup that powers 1000s of Farmers across the country who sell direct online, announced an official partnership to help Farmers increase sales by providing an integrated email marketing experience with Barn2Door + Mailchimp.

Based on feedback from Farmers, our product and engineering teams build features and tools to make the lives of Farmers easier --- saving them time and helping them achieve consistent sales. For delivery day, Farmers have Pick and Pack lists, and can print invoices, receipts --- and now labels!
Farmer Spotlight: Sacred Roots Maple
In 2016, Ash and Ben Clark purchased 68 acres of Farm land in West Chazy, NY. Sacred Roots Maple is a family Farm rooted in keeping maple traditions alive. Their story is rich in history. In fact, many of the maple trees have been in constant production since the 1800s. What started as a passion project for Ben, quickly grew into a thriving family business. Ben has actually been involved in sugaring for 20 plus years. He started as a young teen, working on the same Farm with the original owner --- learning about the property, how to tend the trees, and the process of producing syrup.
Farmer Spotlight: Orem Farms
Joelle and Jared Orem run Orem Farms, a 40-acre family Farm located in Northeast Indiana. Jared is a fourth generation Farmer who was raised to grow food, he knows how to work the land and produce quality crops. Joelle has a background in marketing and events with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design from Indiana Wesleyan University; she is a creative thinker with a heart for family, farming, and her local community. Together, their well rounded skills have enabled them to grow the family business.

Agricola Family Farm grows and sells organic produce to customers in Cleveland, TX, though they first farmed together an ocean away. Daphne Bicaise joined Barn2Door’s DIRECT Farm Series: Brand Conference to share how she folded their family Farm’s unique story as refugees into their Brand efforts, and how those relationships shifted online during the pandemic.

Dirty Girl Produce is a Certified Organic Farm outside of Santa Cruz, California. They’re well known in the area for their top-tier produce, strawberries and tomatoes. Serving some of the largest markets and well-known restaurants in San Francisco, owner Joe Schirmer shared how they transitioned their long-standing buyer relationships online this summer to keep sales steady despite shutdowns and shifting demand.

Luke and Caitlin started Provision Family Farms after hearing Joel Salatin lecture about small, direct-to-market Farms. That was 8 years ago, and now the West Michigan Farm is raising grass fed beef, lamb, pastured pork and chicken which they sell direct-to-market online for home delivery. They’ve stayed ahead of consumers shifting expectations and have continued to grow through the pandemic.
